Performed more than 3,000 operations using the Da Vinci robot and laparoscopic access. More than 100 doctors underwent training in robot-assisted and laparoscopic surgery under the guidance of E.V. Shpot.

In 2001 graduated from the Moscow Medical Academy named after I.M. Sechenov, achieved a diploma with honors in "General medicine". Having completed education at the  Moscow Medical Academy named after I.M. Sechenov, the doctor has been training in clinical residency at the Department of Urology of the Moscow Medical Academy named after I.M. Sechenov in 2001-2003. In January 2006 defended a thesis on topic "Diagnosis and correction of immune disorders in patients with kidney cancer." In 2017 the doctor defended a thesis on the topic “The asymptomatic course of diseases of the kidney and upper urinary tract”.

Trained in leading clinics in Europe.

Passed the following programs:

2012 - "Laparoscopic Urology", Strasbourg, Lyon, Grenoble;

2012 - "Laparoscopic and reconstructive plastic urology", Tel Aviv;

2015 - ORSI Training Center for Robotic Surgery da Vinci, Belgium.

The doctor performs the whole range of urological and oncological interventions, including robot-assisted, laparoscopic, open and endoscopic operations:

  • radical prostatectomy with and without nerve conservation;
  • resection and enucleation of kidney tumors of any size and localization;
  • radical cystprostatectomy with the formation of a new bladder according to Studer and derivation according to Bricker;
  • reconstructive plastic surgery for strictures and obliterations of the ureter and urethra, including intestinal plastics;
  • surgery for prostate adenoma and urolithiasis.

Shhotya: comparative results of various options for the formation of urethrocystoanastomosis in case of radical robot-assisted prostatectomy, temporary and final hemostasis in organ-preserving operations for kidney tumors, laparoscopic surgery for intrasinus neoplasms of the kidney, functional results of the formation of a spherical bladder after robot-assisted cystoprostatectomy, simultaneous surgery for synchronous kidney cancer.
