Graduated with honours from the medical faculty of Sechenov First Moscow State Medical University. Completed clinical residency at Vishnevsky Institute of Surgery, Abdominal surgery Department.

Achieved PhD on specialty Surgery at Vishnevsky Institute of Surgery, Abdominal surgery Department, defended a thesis on theme: “Substantiation of indications for laparoscopic treatment of gastroesophageal reflux disease”.

In 2003 underwent an internship in Germany in St. Elisabethen-Krankenhaus hospital (W.G. Goethe Universitat, Frankfurt/M).

In 2014 had an internship in South Korea (Severance Hospital, Yonsei Cancer Centre, Seul).

Performs more than 300 operations a year, including urgent and planned interventions of different difficulty level.

Provides surgical treatment of abdominal cavity organ diseases (gastrointestinal and biliary tract). Puts in practice low-invasive (laparoscopic) technologies: laparoscope-assisted operations on different segments of large intestine, wedge-shaped and distal gastric resections. Employs present-day endoprosthesis within surgical treatment of anterior abdominal wall hernias, including laparoscopic surgery.

Performs surgical treatment of gallstone disease with use of mini-invasive methods, including one-port approach; surgical treatment of complicated forms of gallstone disease, including choledocholithiasis , Mirizzi’s syndrome etc; laparoscopic treatment of diaphragmatic esophageal aperture hernias, gastoesophageal reflux disease.
