Beginning of
the medical career

In 1981 he graduated from the 2nd Moscow Medical Institute specialised in General Medicine.
In 1983 he completed a clinical residency in neurology at the Central Research Laboratory of the 4th Main Directorate of the Ministry of Health of the USSR.

Experience

From 1983 to 1994 he worked as a therapist and a neurologist at the sanatorium Barvikha of the Fourth Main Directorate of the Ministry of Health of the USSR, then as a neurologist in the Central Clinical Hospital of the Department for Presidential Affairs of the Russian Federation.
From 1994 he was the head of neurological department of Clinic No.1 of AMO ZIL (which in 2006 became Municipal Clinical Hospital No. 12), which was the base of the Department of Neurology and Neurosurgery of RSMU (The Russian State Medical University).
In 2001, under the guidance of the academician of the Russian Academy of Medical Sciences, E. I. Guseva and Professor A. N. Boyko he prepared and successfully defended his PhD thesis.
Since 2010 he has been the head of the neurological department of the Centre for Restorative Medicine and Rehabilitation in Moscow.

Scientific works
