The operation is done using latest generation excimer laser VISX Star S4 IR, that enables myopia correction starting from up to -20, hyperopia correction from up to + 6 and astigmatism correction from up to -6 diopter. The Patients eye is scanned, and all data are being transferred to excimer laser system, so the risk of errors is completely eliminated. Eye correction excimer laser surgery
This operation helps to correct cornea curvature through cold evaporation of middle cornea layers using excimer laser. This technique eliminates epithelium and membrane damage.

What are the advantages of the excimer laser eye correction?
MYOPIA is a visual distortion when a person can well see the subjects nearby and badly – remote subjects. This occurs because of inconformity of eye refracting power and length (the focus of the eye optical system is located in front of the retina). Myopia complications: A s a rule increased eye-bulb is followed by thin and stretched retina, i.e. dystrophic changes of retina resulting in bed eyesight up to complete blindness. Treatment: To prevent dystrophic eye retina changes the peripheral preventive laser coagulation is used: with a special laser weak and broken retina is welded on. When pathological eye growth is stopped and complications are prevented the surgical treatment of myopia becomes possible. Optical eye distortion when a person can badly see nearby subjects due to age-related elasticity loss of the lens that is responsible for good vision of nearby subjects. Age-related lens changes occur at the age of 40-45 and later. Cataract is one of the most widespread diseases in the world. This disease is caused by distortion of metabolic processes in the eyes that result in lenticular opacity and worse visual acuity. Treatment: In our clinic we use latest methods of operative cataract treatment – phacoemulsification. The damaged lens is removed through a small puncture that quickly heals. Even people after 80 easily can bear this operation. Instead of the removed lens a new soft artificial lens is implanted. Glaukoma is a chronic eye disease followed by high intraocular pressure and pathologic changes of the optic nerve that results in irreversible visual impairment up to complete blindness. Treatment: As a rule the treatment is aimed at decreasing intraocular pressure to normal values and intraocular pressure maintenance using special eye drops. Nowadays there are different sparing laser and surgical techniques of glaucoma treatment. They do not require long stay in the inpatient department, and 30 minutes after the operation the patient is released from clinic. Strabismus (squinting) detected during first days or months after child’s birth is usually caused by complicated pregnancy and labor. Sometimes strabismus can be a result of the inborn pathology: cataract, inflammatory eye diseases of different origin. The type of the child’s strabismus (primarily convergent strabismus) is related to high hyperopia that becomes evident after the age of 3. This type of strabismus can be prevented through early diagnostics (mainly hyperopia or astigmatism), timely glass correction, orthoptic and pleoptic treatment. If traditional treatment is not effective, the surgical correction should apply and the traditional treatment is continued. Despite surgical intervention, eye glasses and necessary therapy are main prerequisite for successful strabismus treatment. Treatment:
