Cancer early detection program

For early detection of oncological diseases EMC is offering a special program of cancer screening and treatment. The program is supervised by chief consultant of Saint Joseph  Hospital (Paris, France), chief oncologist of American Hospital (Paris, France). The check up is provided at EMC Inpatient Department.

Check up for men

• Blood testing: biochemistry, hormone screening, oncomarkers.
• Consultation with urologist, including ultrasound examination of small pelvis and retroperitoneum
• Consultation with dermatologist, including epidermic  test
• Body scan (CT – scan of chest and peritoneal cavity)*
• Consultation with a doctor, preceptor of the program on the results of the check up.

 
Check up for women

• Blood testing: biochemistry, hormone screening, oncomarkers
• Consultation with gynecologist, including ultrasound examination of small pelvis.
• Cervical smear  for cytology.
• Consultation with dermatologist, including epidermic  test .
• Body scan (CT – scan of chest and peritoneal cavity)*.
• Mammography (if not indicated for women over 30), ultrasound examination of mammary gland performed in women under 30.
• Ultrasound examination of thyroid gland.
• Consultation with a doctor (preceptor of the program ) on the results of the check up.

Fibergastroscopy and colonoscopy (performed under anesthesia)  is included in the check up for patients with genetic predisposition to cancer.

*if there is no indications for body scan MRI, ultrasound, or X-ray examinations are provided.
